Mandatory Setting

• Ensure the default role for new accounts is set to Subscriber in:
  Admin → Settings
• Users will be assigned as Renters or Owners based on registration settings.

Front-End User Registration Options

Splitting User Types at Registration

• Go to Register & Login Settings
• Go to Renter / Owner Separation
• Enable or Disable the split user option to differentiate Renters and Owners.
• OR Allow only certain users to submit properties in the front end

If the split option is enabled:
✅ “I want to book and rent” → Creates an Owner profile page.
✅ “I only want to book” → No Owner profile page, no ability to list properties.

If the split option is disabled:
All users will register as Owners.

Booking & Registration Process

• Users must log in or register before sending booking requests.
• Admin receives an email notification whenever a new account is created.

If you use WooCommerce, with Instant Booking enabled and Deposit required – you can allow users to register during checkout.

Admin Role & User Management

• Admins can use WpRentals as a single property or single owner platform.

Managing Users and Owners:

• All Owners (including site Admin) can update their profiles only from:
  Front-End → My Profile Page

Admins can view but should not edit owner profiles from:
Admin → Owners → Edit Post

• Admin can see all users who register in wp-admin – Users

Who Can See Owner Contact Information?

Owner information is hidden by default

🔒 Owner details are visible only to:

• The owner (when logged in).
• Users with a confirmed booking for the owner’s property.

• Other users can use the “Contact Me” form (from Profile or from Dashboard) which sends messages to:
  Owner’s Dashboard → My Inbox

Global Settings:

• Administrators can customize header and sidebar options in the admin panel.
• Global owner heading settings are available in Theme Options -> Header -> Hero Media Header
