The Contact Owner Form in WpRentals allows both logged-in and non-logged-in users to send messages to property owners.
These messages are delivered to the owner’s email and stored in the User Dashboard > Inbox.
Possible Locations for Owner Contact Form
- Property Page – Contact Host Button (Inside the booking form).
- Owner’s Public Profile Page (Direct message to owner)

Custom Setup – Admins can replace the booking form with a contact form.
- You can send a message as user from My Reservations page in dashboard.

Admin (Single Owner)
All users must manually add their email in their profile to receive notification messages about messages sent via the theme.

Who Cannot See the Contact Information on the Owner Profile?
- Non-registered users: Cannot see the contact information.
- Registered users without a confirmed booking: Cannot see the contact information.
Who Can See Contact Info?
- Users with a confirmed booking: Can see the contact information.
- Owners: Can see their own contact information.
- Admins: Can see all contact information by default
Contact Form For Logged-In Users:
- The form includes: Check-in/check-out dates, guests, and a message.
Owner Receives the Message:
- The owner gets an email notification about the new message.
- The message details are included in the email, along with a generic message
- The owner sees the message in their Dashboard Inbox.
When a Reply is Sent, Recipient Gets an Email:
- When the owner replies to the message, the recipient (the person who initially sent the message) will get an email with the reply.
- The email is sent to the email address used for registration.
- The recipient will also see the reply in their own dashboard under the My Inbox section, so they can easily track the conversation.
Contact Form for Non Logged-In Users
- The form includes: Name, email (optional), check-in/check-out dates, guests, message, and optional phone number.
- The owner gets an email to his Profile Email Address and sees the message in their email Inbox
Enable GDPR and Mobile in contact form
- Go to Theme Options > Contact Form Settings.
- Enable GDPR Checkbox and Mobile Number options if needed.
If you enable GDPR – you must create the GDPR page with the GDPR Terms template.
Go to Pages – Add New – And create a page with the template

Email Messages Notifications
When a message is sent, the message receiver will get by his email a generic message + the message details.
The message will be listed in User Dashboard – My Inbox as well. Help https://help.wprentals.org/article/my-inbox/
When replies are sent, the other person will receive in his email used at registration a message and he will see the reply in his own dashboard – My Inbox.

Admins can view all messages in the Admin Dashboard under Messages from backend
Additional Email Settings
- Duplicate Emails – Set a duplicate email address in Theme Options > Email Management > Duplicate Email to receive copies of all emails.
- Editing Email Content – Customize default email text in Theme Options > Email Management -> Email Content For more details, see Email Management
