The Advanced Search Shortcode in WPRentals lets you add the theme advanced search form inside a page.
This is useful when you want to show the same search form inside page content, not only over the theme hero media header.
What the Advanced Search Shortcode Does
The Advanced Search Shortcode displays the WPRentals advanced search form inside a page or post.
Visitors can use it to search listings by the fields configured in the global Advanced Search Form settings.
The shortcode can be added with:
- Elementor, using the WPRentals Advanced Search widget
- Bakery Page Builder, using the Advanced Search shortcode element
Where the Shortcode Settings Come From
The fields and behavior of the Advanced Search Shortcode are managed from:
WPRentals Options > Search > Advanced Search Form
From that section, you can manage the global search form used by the shortcode, such as:
- the selected Advanced Search Type
- the search fields used by the selected search type
- field labels
- compare rules, when the selected search type supports custom fields
- price slider settings
- guest, beds, bathrooms, and rooms settings
- features and amenities settings
Add the Advanced Search Form With Elementor
To add the Advanced Search form in Elementor:
- Edit the page with Elementor.
- Search for WPRentals Advanced Search in the Elementor widget panel.
- Drag and drop the widget into the section where you want the search form to show.
- Update the page.
Elementor Widget Options
The Elementor widget has simple display options.
You can add:
- Widget Title – optional title text shown above the search form
In the Style section, you can manage basic styling options such as:
- box shadow
- colors
- typography
Add the Advanced Search Form With Bakery
To add the Advanced Search form with Bakery Page Builder:
- Edit the page with Bakery Page Builder.
- Add the Advanced Search shortcode element.
- Save or update the page.
Advanced Search Shortcode vs Elementor Search Form Builder
The Advanced Search Shortcode and the Elementor Search Form Builder are different tools.

Important Notes
- The Advanced Search Shortcode displays the global WPRentals Advanced Search form.
- The shortcode settings come from WPRentals Options > Search > Advanced Search Form.
- The shortcode does not have separate field settings.
- If you update the global Advanced Search Form settings, the shortcode output follows those settings.
- Use the Elementor widget when editing with Elementor.
- Use the Advanced Search shortcode element when editing with Bakery Page Builder.
- Use the Elementor Search Form Builder only when you need a separate page-specific search form.
