WPRentals allows you to enable multi-selection for specific taxonomy fields in the advanced search form.
When this option is enabled, visitors can select more than one value from the same dropdown. This is useful when users want to search in multiple categories, cities, areas, or listing types at the same time.
Available fields for multi-selection
The multi-selection option can be enabled for these taxonomy fields:
- Property Category
- Property Type
- Property City
- Property Area
Where to manage these taxonomy fields
The values shown in these dropdowns are managed from:
WP Admin > Listings, Bookings & More
From this section, you can manage the listing categories, types, cities, and areas used by WPRentals.

Enable multi-selection in the search form
After enabling multi-selection for the supported fields, visitors will be able to select more than one value from the same dropdown.
For example, a visitor can select multiple cities or multiple property categories in one search.
Show search inside the multi-select dropdown
You can also enable:
Show Search in the Multi-Select Component
This option adds a search field inside the multi-select dropdown. It helps users find a specific category, city, area, or type faster, especially when the website has many taxonomy terms.
Add taxonomy fields to the search form
The multi-select option works only if the taxonomy field is also added to the Advanced Search form.
To add property categories, city, area, or type fields to the search form, manage the search fields from:
Theme Options > Search > Advanced Search Form
