These settings apply only to these Advanced Search Types (*some options cannot apply to Search type 1)
Advanced Search Types and Forms that support display position:
- Search Type 1 – vertical with default fields. Read more here
- Search Type 2 – horizontal with default fields. Read more here
- Search Type 3 – horizontal with custom fields. Read more here
- Search Type 4 – horizontal with 3 default fields (title keyword, first and 2nd category) + custom search fields . Read more here

You can configure how the search form appears on your website in:
Theme Options → Search → Advanced Search Display & Position
Show Advanced Search?
- Enables or disables the advanced search form over header media (Google Maps, Revolution Slider, Theme Slider, or Image).
- Set YES to display it or NO to hide it.
Show Advanced Search Over Sliders or Images?
- Enables or disables displaying the search form over the header media when using a slider or image.
- Set YES to show it or NO to disable it.
Use Sticky Search?
- If set to YES, the search form will replace the sticky header.
- *This option does not apply to Search Type 1.
Use Float Search Form?
If set to YES, the search form will be displayed in a floating position over the header media.
This setting requires configuring the following options:
Distance Between Search Form and Browser Margin Bottom for Pages
- Defines how far the floating search form is from the bottom of the browser.
- You can enter a value in pixels (px) or percentage (%) (e.g., 20px or 15%)
- The advanced search will be displayed over the header in the float position.
- Note: Search type 2 must always have the option “Use Float Search Form” set to YES.
Distance Between Search Form and Browser Margin Bottom (for taxonomy, category, and archive pages)
- This is a separate control for taxonomy pages (property taxonomy or blog categories)
- You can enter a value in pixels (px) or percentage (%) (e.g., 20px or 15%)
Display Search Form Before Header Media?
NOTE – This setting does not apply to Search Type 1.
- If set to YES, the search form will be placed before the header media (Google Maps, sliders, images, etc.).
- This option is available only if “Use Float Search Form” is set to NO.
- If set to NO, the search form will be placed AFTER the header media (Google Maps, sliders, images, etc.).
