The Login and Register Widget is a WPRentals widget that can be added to standard WordPress widget areas, such as the Primary Sidebar, Secondary Sidebar, footer widget areas, or custom sidebars. Help to understand Sidebars & Widgets – https://help.wprentals.org/article/sidebars/
This widget is useful when you want visitors to log in or register directly from a sidebar or widgetized area, instead of using only the header login/register modal.
This widget is for standard WordPress sidebars and widget areas. It is not an Elementor widget and should not be used inside Elementor layouts.
Widget Name
The widget name is:
Wp Estate: Login & Register
You can add it from Appearance > Widgets to any standard WordPress sidebar or widget area.
Do not use this widget in the Top Bar widget area. The Top Bar does not have enough space for the full login/register form.
How the Widget Shows for Logged-Out Users
When the visitor is not logged in, the widget shows the login and register form.
How the Widget Shows for Logged-In Users
When the visitor is already logged in, the widget changes and shows user dashboard links instead of the login/register form.
Settings Used by the Widget
The widget uses the same login, register, and user role settings configured in:
Theme Options > Register and Login Settings
This means the same settings apply to all WPRentals login and register forms, including:
- the header login/register modal
- the login/register shortcode
- the Login and Register widget
For example, if you enable renter/owner separation, password creation during registration, mobile phone field, social login, or other register options, those settings also apply to this widget.
