Theme Slider for Hero Media
The Theme Slider allows you to display selected listings in the Hero Media Header area. It can be used for the homepage, for specific pages, or as a global hero header option for pages, owner pages, taxonomy pages, and blog posts.
The slider displays listing information such as the featured image, title, price, description, and link, depending on the selected design type.
Configure the Theme Slider Settings
To manage the Theme Slider settings, go to Theme Options → Header → Hero Media – Theme Slider.
Select Listings for the Theme Slider
In the Select Properties field, search for the listings you want to display in the Theme Slider and select them from the autocomplete list.
For speed reasons, the autocomplete field may show only the first listings. If you cannot find the listing you want in the autocomplete list, use the Add Properties in theme slider by ID field instead.
In the ID field, add the listing IDs separated by commas.
Example: 123,456,789
Important: The ID field overwrites the listings selected in the autocomplete field.
Set the Theme Slider Transition Speed
The option Number of milliseconds before auto cycling an item controls how fast the slider changes from one item to the next.
- Add 5000 for a 5-second interval.
- Add 0 if you do not want the slider to autoplay.
Choose the Theme Slider Design Type
The Theme Slider includes two design types:
- Type 1
- Type 2
Theme Slider Design Type 1
Theme Slider Design Type 2
How to Manage Theme Slider Content
The Theme Slider uses the selected listing details and the listing featured image.
Before adding a listing to the Theme Slider, check the following:
- The listing must be published.
- The listing should have a featured image.
- The featured image should be wide, preferably at least 1920px wide, because it is displayed in a full-width hero area.
Set the Featured Image from the Front-end Dashboard
If you edit a listing from the front-end dashboard, go to the Images step and upload the listing images in the Listing Media section.
Click the star icon on the image you want to use as the featured image.
Set the Featured Image from wp-admin
If you edit a listing from wp-admin, go to Listings → All Listings, edit the listing, and use the Featured image panel.
Set the Theme Slider as a Specific Page Hero Header
You can display the Theme Slider as the Hero Media Header for a specific page.
- Go to Pages → All Pages.
- Edit the page where you want to use the Theme Slider.
- Scroll to the Appearance Options section.
- Find the Select header type option.
- Select Theme Slider.
- Update the page.
Important: Page-level settings overwrite the global Hero Media Header setting. If a page is set to Global, it will use the header type selected in Theme Options → Header → Hero Media Header.
Set the Theme Slider as a Global Hero Header
You can also set the Theme Slider globally from Theme Options → Header → Hero Media Header.
From this section, you can set the Theme Slider for:
- Global Hero Media Header Type – applies to pages that use the Global header type in their page settings.
- Hero Media Header Type for Owners page – applies to owner profile pages.
- Hero Media Header Type for Property Category/Taxonomy Pages – applies to taxonomy pages when the taxonomy pages use the standard layout.
- Hero Media Header Type for Blog Post – applies to blog posts unless overwritten by another header setting.
Important for taxonomy pages: The Theme Slider can be used for taxonomy pages with the standard layout. For Half Map taxonomy pages, the map header is required.

Important Notes
- The Theme Slider must first be configured in Theme Options → Header → Hero Media – Theme Slider.
- After configuring the slider, you must choose where it displays: globally or on a specific page.
- The selected listings should have wide featured images for the best visual result.
- If a listing does not have a featured image, the slider may not display that listing correctly.
- If you use 0 for the auto-cycling option, the slider will not autoplay.
- For taxonomy pages using Half Map layout, the map header is mandatory. Other hero media options do not apply in that layout.
