WPRentals is sold in two places: on ThemeForest, and directly on wprentals.org – https://wprentals.org/pricing This article is for the second group. If you bought on ThemeForest, everything you need is in Get your license code instead.

What Is Different, and What Is Not

The theme is the same product either way. Same features, same demos, same support, same updates. What changes is the code you activate with and the road your updates travel down.

Your License Key

A wprentals.org purchase gives you a License Key. You will find it in two places:

  • In the purchase confirmation email sent to the address you bought with, next to the download link
  • In your account at care.wpestate.org, under Licenses

Copy it exactly as shown, including the dashes, with no spaces before or after.

No email? Check your spam folder first. If it is not there, open a ticket at care.wpestate.org from the address you paid with and we will resend it.

Activate the License on Your Website

Install the theme and activate the WPRentals – Theme Core Functionality plugin first. The License screen belongs to that plugin, so it does not exist until the plugin is active.

How to install the theme and the included plugins

Then go to WPRentals Site Settings > WPRentals License and choose Purchased on wprentals.org. The ThemeForest username field disappears and the remaining field is relabelled License Key:

The WPRentals License screen with the wprentals.org option selected, showing a single License Key field

Paste your key, tick the consent checkbox, and click Register License. You are looking for the message You have successfully registered.

Pick the right option before anything else. A License Key cannot be validated as a ThemeForest purchase code, and a purchase code cannot be validated as a License Key. If registration is refused, check this choice first.

Full step-by-step, including what to do when a license is already registered elsewhere: Get your license code. Register / activate / deactivate.

How Updates Reach You

You do not need the Envato Market plugin and you do not need to download anything. Once the license is registered, the theme checks for a new version by itself and hands it to WordPress.

  1. Go to Dashboard > Updates.
  2. When a newer version is out, WPRentals is listed under Themes.
  3. Tick it and click Update Themes.

The WordPress Updates screen, reached from Dashboard then Updates, where a new WPRentals version is offered

Your content, theme options and child theme are untouched — it is the same operation WordPress performs for any theme.

A release is out but your site does not show it yet. The version check runs roughly twice a day and the answer is remembered in between, so a version published a few hours ago may not have reached you. It will appear on its own. The Check again link on the Updates screen refreshes WordPress core and plugin checks, but it does not shorten this one.
The Envato Market plugin is missing from the plugin list. That is deliberate. It can only deliver ThemeForest purchases, so on a site registered with a License Key it is taken out of the recommended plugins.

The three included plugins — Core Functionality, Elementor Widgets and Gutenberg Blocks — are updated separately, the same way for every buyer.

Demo Content

The ready-made demos are only offered to a registered website. Register the license first, then import.

Registered, but the demo list is empty? Open a ticket at care.wpestate.org with your License Key and your domain, and we will look at it from our side.

Moving the License to Another Domain

A license covers one live domain. Before you delete a site, reset a site, or move to a new domain, release the license from the old one.

Go to WPRentals Site Settings > WPRentals License on the old site. A registered site shows the deactivation option instead of the registration form:

The WPRentals License screen on a registered site, showing the Deactivate License button

Click Deactivate License and wait for Your license has been successfully revoked. The key is then free to register on the new domain.

If you cannot reach the old website — it is gone, or you never had access — you cannot release the license yourself. Open a ticket at care.wpestate.org and tell us the domain you want to move to.

Support

Support is at care.wpestate.org, and it is the same support ThemeForest buyers get.

Your account is already waiting for you. Buying on wprentals.org registers you in client support automatically, using the email address you paid with. There is no sign-up form to fill in and no ThemeForest username involved — just sign in with that address.

Once you are in, Licenses is the screen you will use most. It lists your license key and your download files: the full package and the theme-only zip.
