How to Assign or Edit a Membership Package for a User
- Go to Users > Edit User in your WordPress dashboard
- Scroll to the Package Info section.
How to Find the Package ID:
To assign a specific package, you’ll need its ID. You can find it in one of two ways:
-
Install and use the Reveal IDs plugin to display IDs directly in the admin area.
-
Or, go to WpRentals > Membership Packages, click Edit on the package, and look at the URL. The number after
post=
is the package ID.
(Example:.../post.php?post=123&action=edit
→ Package ID is 123.)
Assign or Change the User’s Package:
In the Edit User screen:
-
Enter or update the Package ID in the Package Info section.
-
You can also manually update the Listings Included, Featured Listings, and Action Date if needed.
💡 Tip: Assigning a package manually is helpful when offering promotions, solving customer issues, or testing the system.
Important Notes:
-
Expiration rules will still apply.
-
The Action Date must be in this format for expiration to work correctly:
YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS
(Example:2014-12-31 10:05:44
) -
If the action date is incorrect or left blank, the system may not deactivate expired listings as expected.
