7531 views
In this video, you will learn how to manage the options for the Listing Page Layout Manager. You will learn how to hide sections and how to change the section order on the listing page. Watch Video on Youtube

The Listing Page Layout Manager allows you to control which sections appear on the default WPRentals listing page and in what order they are displayed.

You can use this option to hide default sections, enable extra sections, and rearrange the listing page layout without editing theme files.

Important: These settings apply to the default WPRentals listing page layout. If you use a custom listing page template created with WPRentals Studio and Elementor, the layout is controlled directly inside that Elementor template.

Access the Listing Page Layout Manager

To access the Listing Page Layout Manager, go to:

WPRentals Options > Listing Page > Listing Page Layout Manager

Enable the Layout Manager

To use the layout manager, first enable it.

  1. Find the option Enable Layout Manager?
  2. Set it to Yes.
  3. Click Save Changes.

After this option is enabled, you can control the listing page sections from the layout manager area.

Hide default sections that can appear twice

Some listing page sections are part of the default listing page layout. If you also enable the same sections in the Listing Page Layout Manager, they can appear twice on the listing page.

The sections that may need to be hidden from the default layout are:

  • Description
  • Owner
  • Map
  • Similar Listings

To avoid duplicate sections:

  1. Find the option Hide Default [Section Name] Section?
  2. Set it to Yes for the section you want to control only through the Layout Manager.
  3. Click Save Changes.
  4. Refresh the listing page and check the result.
Example: If you add the Description section in the Layout Manager, also set Hide Default Description Section? to Yes to prevent the Description section from showing twice.

Enable or disable listing page sections

The Layout Manager uses two columns:

  • Enabled – sections placed here will show on the listing page.
  • Disabled – sections placed here will not show on the listing page.

To hide a section:

  1. Find the section in the Enabled column.
  2. Drag it to the Disabled column.
  3. Click Save Changes.

To show a section again:

  1. Find the section in the Disabled column.
  2. Drag it to the Enabled column.
  3. Click Save Changes.

Reorder listing page sections

You can also change the order of the sections shown on the listing page.

  1. Go to the Enabled column.
  2. Drag and drop the sections into the order you want.
  3. Click Save Changes.
  4. Refresh the listing page to see the new section order.
Tip: If the order does not update immediately, clear cache and reload the listing page in a private/incognito browser window.

Important notes

  • The Layout Manager must be enabled before section order changes can apply.
  • Move sections to Disabled if you do not want them to show.
  • Reorder sections by dragging them inside the Enabled column.
  • Use the Hide Default [Section Name] Section? options if a default section appears twice.
  • These options apply to the default WPRentals listing page layout.
  • If you use a custom listing template with WPRentals Studio and Elementor, edit the layout directly inside that Elementor template.
