The “WpEstate – Latest Listings” widget is a sidebar widget that displays a list of the most recently published properties on your site. It is perfect for showcasing active listings in your sidebar, footer, or any widgetized area.

Where to Add It

Go to Appearance > Widgets, then:

• Locate the widget: “Wp Estate – Latest Listing”

• Drag and drop it into your Sidebar area (or another widget area like Footer or Custom Widget Zones)

This widget is available in Classic Widgets and Gutenberg Widgets views.

Widget Settings

You can customize it with the following options:

🏷 Title

• Set the widget title (e.g., “Latest Properties”, “New Listings”, etc.)

• The title displays above the property list.

🔢 Number of Listings

• Choose how many properties to show (e.g., 3, 5, or more).

• The most recent listings based on publish date will be shown.

🎯 Filter Options

You can filter which listings appear by:

• Category (Sale, Rent, etc.)

• Action Category (like Buy, Rent, Short Term)

• City

• Area

• Show Featured properties only (yes/ no). Help to manage featured properties

This helps tailor the widget to display listings specific to the current page or target audience.

Display Style

The listings in the sidebar are shown in a compact, vertical format, typically including:

• Thumbnail image of the property

• Property title (linked to the property page)

• Price (in the main currency)

• City or area (depending on what you include in settings)

This keeps the widget clean, fast-loading, and easy to read.
