Overview
The WPRentals theme includes two Elementor testimonial widgets:
- WPRentals Testimonial
- Testimonials Slider
Use these widgets to show customer feedback, guest comments, owner feedback, or short review-style messages on pages created with Elementor.
Difference Between the Two Testimonial Widgets
WPRentals includes two testimonial widgets because they are used for different layouts.

Before You Start
Before adding testimonials, check the following:
- The page is edited with Elementor.
- The WPRentals Elementor Widgets plugin is installed and activated.
- You have the testimonial text ready.
- You have the client name, title or position, image, and star rating if you want to use these details.
How to Add the WPRentals Testimonial Widget
Step 1: Edit the Page with Elementor
- Go to the page where you want to add one testimonial, for example your homepage.
- Click Edit with Elementor.
- Select the section where the testimonial should appear, or create a new section.
Step 2: Add the Widget
- In the Elementor sidebar, search for WPRentals Testimonial.
- Drag the widget into the desired section.
WPRentals Testimonial Options
Each WPRentals Testimonial widget displays one testimonial.
You can add details such as:
- Client Name – the name of the person giving the testimonial.
- Title – a short title or position, if needed.
- Image – the client image or avatar.
- Testimonial Text – the testimonial message.
- Testimonial Stars – the star rating displayed with the testimonial.

The WPRentals Testimonial widget includes two design types.

How to Add the Testimonials Slider Widget
Step 1: Edit the Page with Elementor
- Go to the page where you want to add the testimonial slider.
- Click Edit with Elementor.
- Select the section where the slider should appear, or create a new section.
Step 2: Add the Widget
- In the Elementor sidebar, search for Testimonials Slider.
- Drag the widget into the section where you want the slider to appear.
Testimonials Slider Options
The Testimonials Slider widget lets you add several testimonial items in the same widget.
Use the Add Item button to add more testimonials to the slider.
For each testimonial item, you can add:
- Title
- Client Name
- Client Position
- Stars Rating
- Testimonial Text
- Testimonial Image
Style the Testimonials Slider
The slider design is managed from the Elementor widget settings.
Layout and Typography
From the widget style settings, you can manage options such as:
- Hide or show the testimonial image.
- Typography for the title, content, client name, and client position.
- Text alignment.
- Slider width.
Colors and Navigation
You can also manage visual details such as:
- Colors for the testimonial elements.
- Slider arrow color.
- Slider arrow shape.
- Navigation style.
Image and Content Tips
- Use similar image sizes for all testimonial images in the same section.
- Use short testimonial text for slider items so the slides stay balanced.
- Use the same star rating style across all testimonials for consistency.
- If you use client images, use clear square or portrait images.
- Check the testimonial section on desktop, tablet, and mobile.
Save and Test
After adding the testimonial widget:
- Click Update in Elementor.
- Open the page on the front end.
- Check that the testimonial content appears correctly.
- If using the slider, click the arrows and verify each testimonial item appears.
- Test the layout on desktop, tablet, and mobile.
Troubleshooting
The testimonial widget does not appear in Elementor
- Make sure Elementor is installed and active.
- Make sure the WPRentals Elementor Widgets plugin is installed and active.
- Update the WPRentals theme and included plugins to compatible versions.
- Refresh the Elementor editor and search again.
The testimonial image does not show
- Check that an image was selected in the widget settings.
- Check if the image still exists in the Media Library.
- Clear cache and reload the page.
The slider arrows do not work
- Test the page on the front end, not only inside the Elementor editor.
- Clear plugin cache, server cache, CDN cache, and browser cache.
- Temporarily disable JavaScript optimization, delay, or minify options from cache plugins while testing.
- Check for JavaScript errors in the browser console.
The layout does not look correct on mobile
- Open the Elementor responsive settings.
- Check spacing, typography, image size, and slider width for tablet and mobile.
- Use shorter testimonial text if slides become too tall on smaller screens.
Important Notes
- WPRentals includes two Elementor testimonial widgets: WPRentals Testimonial and Testimonials Slider.
- Use WPRentals Testimonial for one testimonial card.
- Use Testimonials Slider for multiple testimonials in a slider.
- Testimonials are added manually inside the Elementor widget.
- The testimonial widgets do not automatically pull property reviews, booking reviews, or owner reviews.
- The WPRentals Testimonial widget includes two design types.
- The Testimonials Slider widget supports multiple testimonial items.
- The widget design is managed from Elementor settings.
- If changes do not appear, clear plugin cache, server cache, CDN cache, and browser cache, then test again.
