Container Padding

  • The calendar container typically has internal spacing to ensure the calendar does not touch the widget’s edges.

  • This padding provides a clean and organized appearance.

Date Box Height

  • Each date cell in the calendar is designed to have a consistent height, ensuring a uniform grid layout.

  • This consistency enhances readability and user experience.

Box Shadow

  • The calendar may include subtle box shadows to give a sense of depth and separation from the background.

  • This visual effect helps the calendar stand out on the page.

Colors

  • You can control the container background  color

  • Colors for the calendar can be customized via Theme Options → Design → Calendar Colors

  • Specific settings include:

    • Calendar – Background Color for Day: Sets the background color for each day on the calendar.

    • Calendar – Font Color for Day: Sets the font color for the day numbers.

    • Calendar – Internal Booking Color: Defines the color used for dates that are internally booked.

How to use the widget with the WP Bakery plugin

Use WPBakery for pages built with WPBakery Page Builder, and Elementor for pages built with Elementor. Do not mix the two builders on the same page.

How to Use the Categories List in WPBakery

  • Edit the Page with WPBakery

The demo content provided with this theme is for demonstration purposes only. It is intended to showcase the layout and functionality of the theme. Please note  Images, videos, and other media files included in the demo content are placeholders and may be subject to copyright. These are not licensed for use on live websites. You are responsible for replacing them with properly licensed assets.

Before theme installation and demo setup Ensure that your web host has the minimum requirements to run WordPress and WpRentals theme. – Help article about Server / Theme Requirements

Import related notes:

  • Because not all hostings can import a large content at once, the theme will come with a limited number of images. That will help make a fast import.
  • If you need to use free images, you can use pixabay or pexels. These sites offer free videos as well.
  • If you see  some icons missing, it is just because WordPress by default disables the import for svg icons. But it is not an error.  and you actually get the svg icons with your license installation folder if you need too.
  • If you import different demos or import the same demo multiple times, there will be duplicated content (menus, widgets, and theme options will override).  We recommend starting with 1 demo content and if you need to install another demo, reset the demo first nd import a new demo after.

Allow svg before starting the demo import

SVG icons are disabled by default from WordPress. To allow SVG before import, you need to enable this at the server level.

The SVG support plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/svg-support/ is the plugin that will allow you to upload SVG Icons for Features and Amenities and for the demo icons to be imported along with the demo Features and Amenities, this plugin needs to be active before the demo import.  The SVG support plguin is added as one of the included plugins.

Make sure that the SSL certificate is correctly set for your site

Go to admin-Settings-General and make sure that WordPress Address (URL) and Site Address (URL) have HTTPS

Import Demo Data

Step1: Go to Import Demo Data -> and Select the demo you wish from those available

Step2: Select the demo you wish to import and click Continue and Import

For speed purposes, demo images are not included in the import. Revolution Sliders are imported separately from demo_content/revolutions_sliders folder If the import doesn’t go through in 1-2 minutes, server limits are affecting the import. Please check the server requirements list here. For our assistance with this process, please contact us through client support here.

  • During the import, you will see

  • When the import is done you see:

Step3: Delete the import plugin as you do not use it anymore

If Demo Content Import Fails

Import process needs server to support full import.  Many shared hostings limit services such as: Your PHP memory, file upload size, and/or execution limits are set too low. A nd these have to be corrected by hosting on in your hosting account (if your hosting allows you to do that).

Ideally these values should be:

  • max_execution_time 180
  • memory_limit 96M
  • post_max_size 64M
  • upload_max_filesize 64M

  • Number of Items: Choose how many total items to display.
  • Items per Row: Select how many items to show in a single row (e.g., 3 or 4).

  • Random Pick? YES / NO. If “yes” The widget will display a random selection of recent blog posts (articles) each time the page is loaded or refreshed, but the option will not work with a Cache Plugin and it will slow down the page loading

Select the design of the card unit

  • The design of the Listing Card Unit syncs with the settings applied in Theme Options -> Listing Card Design
  • If you choose “Display listings without spaces? (Titles and global listing links will be hidden if enabled)” – the design of the shortcode is changed to a specific layout

Display as Grid

When you choose to display the categories as a grid, you’re organizing them in a multi-column layout, like tiles or boxes, instead of one below the other (which would be a list).

This layout is cleanvisual, and works well on desktop and tablets. On smaller screens (like phones), the grid usually adjusts automatically (called responsive design) and might stack the items in 1 or 2 columns.
